The science behind Cyntellect’s technology is based upon principles from the semiconductor manufacturing industry where combinations of imaging and laser-based processing are used to rapidly process materials, for example disk drive texturing and resistor trimming. These technologies are accepted to be fast, reliable and robust systems. Cyntellect has adapted such technologies by combining imaging components such as F-theta optics, intelligent real-time image analysis tools and high-precision targeting of laser processing of cells to enable manipulation of living cells for purification and delivery of biomolecules.
