Multi-Parameter Gating

The Celigo software provides a rapid solution for multi-channel analysis of brightfield and fluorescent images and a means for cell identification based on intensity and morphology parameters. Moreover, a powerful, yet easy-to-use, gating interface allows the analysis of cell populations similarly to flow cytometry. Specifically, once fluorescent or brightfield images are segmented into objects, a set of gates based on morphology or intensity is used to define populations and classes of cells for which statistical data is reported. The multi-parameter gating functionality of the Celigo software provides the following benefits:

  • Definition of an unlimited number of plots and cell populations
  • Interactive, real-time classification of cell populations using histogram and scatter plots
  • Multiple range and splitter gates on histogram plots
  • Quadrant and multiple polygon gates on scatter plots
  • Combination of gates using a full set of Boolean operators
  • Identification of cell classes for which statistical data is reported for all wells
