An Overview of the Celigo™ Cytometer

Minimally Invasive, Microplate-Based Cytometry

Leveraging the advantages of in situ analysis, the Celigo adherent cell cytometer analyzes adherent cells with the same precision and accuracy as non-adherent cell types. With Celigo, scientists can obtain high quality data from every cell in every well of a 384-well microplate in just 10 minutes. The system is designed to maximize utility with an array of capabilities:

  • Operates with T-flasks and a variety of multiwell plates
  • Provides data for adherent and non-adherent cell types
  • Brightfield cell imaging and identification
  • Eliminates the brightfield edge effect for deeper analysis
  • Fluorescence detection capabilities for up to three fluors
  • Requires minimal sample manipulation

The Celigo cytometer’s outstanding performance is largely due to its unique optical pathway, which employs an F-theta lens and galvanometer mirrors to rapidly scan large areas. Unlike traditional instruments, the system can scan an entire well while maintaining consistent illumination for accurate cell identification out to the well edge.
