Senior Research Associates

Job Summary

The senior research associate positions contribute to instrument and application development for Cyntellect products. Candidates have experience with cell culture, molecular biology and cell-based assays. Research associates must complete scientific and technical tasks on aggressive timelines and work as part of a team on varied tasks with changing priorities. Position requires the ability to communicate results clearly, to troubleshoot technical issues, to plan and carry out experiments independently, and to work with complex instrumentation and software. Knowledge of GLP practices, validation and documentation exercises is preferred.

Minimum Job Qualifications/Experience - Requirements

• BS or MS in Cell Biology, Immunology, Molecular Biology or related fields with 4+ years of industrial laboratory experience in cell biology, molecular biology and tissue culture.
• Practical knowledge of cell biology and cell-based assays is required.
• Previous industry experience with instrumentation and software development, reagent, kit and disposable product development is required.

Expert proficiency with microscopy, fluorescent assays and instrumentation is required.
